Four Out Of Five Ain’t Bad (My Sunday Photo)

When you have five children like me, it’s almost impossible to have them all together in the same room at the same. In fact the last time that happened was last Christmas. I’m hoping it will happen again this Christmas. Nowadays it really is a rare occurrence.

One of the problems of this happening on a regular basis is the pure logistics, and the fact that three of my children have grown up and are making their way in the world. Two are at university, one in Swansea and my 20 year old daughter in Southampton.

Yesterday, well having four of them together was wonderful even if it was only for approximately 40 minutes! My son came home by train and I would like to think to see me, but truth is he only wanted his monitor for his Xbox, haha!

My oldest daughter is off to Cape Verde on Monday, and wanted to borrow my Go-Pro, now I’m feeling really wanted. Haha!

The thing is for me and this made me realise how quickly your children grow up, it really doesn’t seem like yesterday they were born and then before you know it they are gone living their own lives, and you see less of them. It was a shame that my 20 year old daughter wasn’t home as well, but I will be seeing her in couple of weeks for my birthday. So I do have that to look forward to it.

I captured this moment just before the two of them left. Anyways four out of five isn’t bad.
