Getting dressed for Prom Night
Over recent years, we in the UK appear to have adopted the prom night celebrations from Amercia. This end of year celebration for our young adults is an ever growing popular event.
Being a father of three teenagers, two daughters and a son, it always seemed difficult for my daughters to find their perfect outfit for that special night. Keeping in mind that it doesn’t become too expensive! After all it’s only for a few hours and quite often the girls buy their prom dresses from far flung places like China.
This can be a very stressful time for teenagers as kids today are very concious of their appearance and peer pressure doesn’t help the situation, so it’s vital they are able to fit in with their friends and not look the odd one out.
My son is about to have his year 11 prom night and he is a fussy dresser in respect that it needs to feel right on him. After doing the rounds of the usual high street retailers we drew a blank and also found them to be very expensive.
I suggested having a look online to see what we could find. We came across a retailer called Noose and Monkey.
They had a fantastic range of prom suits and accessories and all at reasonable prices. My son was very impressed by what they had on offer and especially when we saw that the suits and accessories matched perfectly
Hopefully he will be all kitted out for his prom night and looking good!
