I'm a top 10 dadblogger in the UK
When I first started blogging I remember looking at the best dad blogs out there and remember thinking to myself wouldn’t it be nice to be in such awesome company one day. I then gave myself an electric shock back to reality as I thought that was never going to happen.
However, a couple of days ago I received a tweet that quite honestly I had to read three or four times to make sure what I was reading was real! When I finally got my head around it I was amazed to find that I had been named in the Vuelio Top 10 Dad Bloggers in the UK at number 10! Wow!
Incredible, gobsmacked, buzzing, to name a few feelings I was having! It really did take me a while for it to sink in!
After a while I looked more closely at the other dad bloggers in the list and I couldn’t believe that they were all the dad bloggers that I was reading when I first started blogging 20 months ago, and now, and I have no idea how, I was on a list with them. These dad bloggers are awesome and for me to be included in such esteemed company is incredibly humbling.
At this moment in my blogging life it’s easily the best thing to have happened to me. I have always questioned my ability to write interesting posts that interact with people. In fact I still do, but maybe people do enjoy my writing after all! I hope so!
What started as something to do because I had broken my wrist and couldn’t work for six weeks, also because I was bored out of my brains, turned into a passion about chronicling my life, including my wife, children and job. To then recieve recognition well it’s truly amazing.

Congratulations again mate. Thoroughly deserved. I said ages ago you write things that both make me smile and think. You were also one of the first established bloggers to reach out to me with links and interviews etc. when i started a few months back, so thanks.
