LeapFrog Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Box

October 31, 2015

As a dad of three year old twin girls I have always loved LeapFrog toys. Over the years LeapFrog have come up with toys that are both innovative and educational. Their Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Box toy will help your little ones learn lots of new skills.

I think this particular toy is very colourful sturdy and easy to handle for little hands.

The idea behind Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Box is to build and rebuild the whole house with loads of fun from scout.

To build Scouts house you have a hammer, screwdriver, ruler, saw and a wrench. These are all different colours so it is easy to match the right tool for the right job.

Scout also helps you build the house by talking to you. This is done by pressing the front door. Scout will tell you which tool to use for which job.

Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Box has three main learning skills

• Building & Tinkering
• Counting
• Colours

Build & Discover Tool Box is a hands on pretend toy that exposes children to early skills including counting, numbers and colours. Children can explore and experiment with five different tools on the various fasteners while exercising their developing fine motor skills and hand eye coordination.

The toolbox itself can be dissembled and put back together again for added fun!

All the tools are housed in the house so they can be easily grabbed. Starting with the floor you can attach the walls then add the roof for a good job done while all the time songs and phrases teach colours, counting and much more.

The various screws and bolts can be twisted by hand or by using the matching colour tool so that they come out of the toolbox.

I would highly recommend Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Box to teach your children lots of new skills while having fun. It’s a durable toy that’s colourful, eye catching and lots of fun.

For the purpose of this review I was sent one LeapFrogScout’s Build & Discover Tool Box toy. All views are 100% my own.
