Moving to our new home

March 11, 2015

It has been been two weeks since we moved to our new home and strangely it is taking me a little while to settle. I am not sure why because I love our new home. It has so much more space for R&M. They even have a playroom, but I actually feel like I am on holidays

I think is it about us putting our stamp on our new home which is something I have started to do as I have written in a previous post about the girls bedroom which has a frozen theme

I’ve painted the conservatory too so it is gradually getting there.
This weekend I’m going to make a start on our living room makeover which will go with our new sofas that are being delivered this week.
We have also ordered a new dining room table and chairs which are coming later this month for our conservatory.
When I have finished this I am sure it will feel more like home.
One the most difficult things I have found hard to get used to is that two bedrooms are in the attic which is where we all sleep. I have found sleeping difficult as I have always lived and slept on the same level.
I am over the moon with our new home and I know I will settle because it has a lovely back garden for the girls to play in with a conservatory and a lovely decked area the garden which is south facing so the sun is always in the garden and the views of my home town, Cardiff are fantastic. In truth there’s nothing not to like! It’s just me as usual struggling with change, but I will and I know it will be a very happy home for us all.

Sounds like a lovely new home. The girls room looks cute with the frozen theme and how wonderful to have a play room. #Multiplemadness

We are looking into moving in a little as well, and my wife and I have had numerous discussions about how THAT is going to go over with kids who freak out if you cut their sandwiches wrong. Thanks for the post!

I love the Frozen themed room. In the Hectic Household we start out with a theme, but never seem to finish it. I love the look of your new place…it appears amazing.

    Make it a great home!
