My highlight of last week
This week the twins went back to nursery after the Christmas and my goodness were they ready! They couldn’t wait to get back in and they also needed the stimulation of nursery which I didn’t think they would miss, but they did in a very big way.
The highlight of the week without a doubt was on Tuesday when, after nursery they started playing a game with the sofas that I remember doing as a child. They started siting under the cushions and in fact had their lunch in that position it’s like having a den. Really made me laugh because I had the vision of myself doing exactly the same thing when I was little.
The following day after nursery was similar play with the sofas except building towers of cushions to stand on.
It’s fantastic watching the twins who are nearly four using their own imagination to make up games. I can’t wait for the next one. It’s amazing how old games have come back though the generations.
