Nutty Putty Review and Giveaway

Nutty putty was also designed to explore art techniques which include sculpting and moulding. Something our twins love doing. 

The packaging is bright and cheerful, as well as being very child friendly. I was sent the six colour set and the keyring set. 

The six colour set comes with everything you need to create many different things including animals, cars and flowers. Nutty putty is made from a unique silicone which is:

• Non toxic

• Hypoallergenic 

• Anti-Bacterial 

• Non-drying and non messy

It can also be baked into a permanent rubbery and waterproof creation. 

My twin girls decided to make something from the suggestions on the play mat. Nutty putty was very easy to roll out and shape into whatever the girls were making. 

The excellent a step by step guide that comes in the box was very easy to follow. The girls could see exactly what it needed to look like every step of the way.

They each made three different things and there was plenty left over to go back and make some more on another day. 

The other set was the keyring set and they loved the idea of making their very own keyrings. Again they picked one of the suggestions and loved every minute of creating their keyring. 

After about an hour the girls had finished their creations and now it was time to bake them in the oven. This takes around 10 minutes and the oven should be at 200 degrees once. There’s a handy rectangle of parchment paper that you can place your creation on in the oven.

Once cooled, it’s all rubbery and doesn’t fall apart and can be played with. If you don’t bake them you can of course re-use the nutty putty as many times as you want. 

A couple of warnings though, always use on a play mat and if it goes on clothes it could stain. Always keep in air tight container or bag. 

My overall opinion of Nutty Putty is it is fun and you can create anything you want. Our girls had no problem using it and loved playing with it.
