R and M go scaries and fairies school party

October 17, 2015

Last night R and M went to their first after school party at the school which started at 5.30pm. The party, although a little early was because Hallowern falls during half term. It was a Halloween party called Scaries and Fairies. R decided to go as Captain Amercia and M went as Elsa from frozen.

It was an interesting decision to take the girls mainly because they are not quite four years old and there was going to be children up to 11 eleven years of age so the question we asked ourselves was would the girls get a bit frightened, but you never know until you try.
We arrived at 5.30pm and the party was in full swing. We went into the one hall and there was a disco and lots of children dressed up in many different types of costumes and they all looked amazing.
The girls joined in the dancing and were having a great time and also they were pointing out their friends from nursery to their mum and me which was fascinating because normally they don’t name anybody from their class!

The girls brought glow sticks and a cake and we had a hot-dog. All the food was very yummy and not over priced.
We then went down to the other hall andthere was  a bouncy castle, but the girls decided to just watch the other children rather than go on themselves.

They were beginning to get tired so we went outside to the play area in the playground and the girls played there until it was completely dark and loved it! We finally made our way home about 7pm.

The girls had a fantastic time and really enjoyed their first party in their new school and I am sure there will be plenty more parties that they will go to and their confidence will grow with each party.
Most importantly all the money raised from the party goes towards the school and helping the children.
