The girls first visit to their new nursery
Yesterday R and M visited their new nursery which is where they will be going in September.
They really are growing up quickly. It seems in no time they have gone from being babes in arms to attending nursery for two and half hours a day. It’s frightening because you obviously want them to grow up, but wouldn’t it be nice if they could stay little forever with that wonderful untouched innocence that only they have when the world hasn’t touched them yet,.
Unfortunately though they do grow up.
At the nursery they were very shy and not very talkative, but of course that will change as they gain their independence and nursery becomes one of their natural environments.
We have just a couple of months before nursery starts and I feel it’s so important that we take advantage of this time whilst we still have them at home full time with us because this time will not come around again unless of course we have more children.
R and M are expanding their lives without Mummy and Daddy.
I have to be honest that makes me a little sad.

It's always tough when the kids go through a big change like heading to daycare. Ours have always been little troopers and after a few weeks the hard part is getting the to leave at night.

Such an exciting day, it's scary how quick it goes from here though isn't it. My eldest starts his last year of school in Sept and his younger brother starts secondary school, won't be long till the baby girl is moving up too!

Yes, I too get that feeling that my kids are growing up so fast and wish I could keep them innocent forever. Alas, it isn't going to work out that way. I hope they settle into nursery well. #dadpostoftheweek

Not long to go now before they start properly now, only a few weeks, I bet they will start getting excited soon

Oh no! I dread that day but then I guess no-one wants their 'babies' to grow up 🙁 I have to look to going back to work soon after maternity leave and the fear turns my stomach. How can I leave my baby with a stranger?? Good luck with nursery girls x #DadPostOfTheWeek
