Top 5 Kitchen Appliances
Nowadays it seems that you can get all sorts of gadgets for the home. As someone who likes to keep up with the latest technology and trends, I’m keen to find out more when I hear about a new appliance. My wife is the same. She loves her kitchen gadgets! With that in mind I thought I’d put together a post of my top 10 kitchen appliances.
1. In at number has to be a washing machine. With nearly four year old twins, this is one of the most appliances in our home. Quite often they’ll come home from nursery covered in paint, pen or food! That’s the same when they’re at home too, but they’re usually covered in mud from the garden or play-doh! A washing machine that’s quiet is an added bonus as it means we can put a quick wash on when the girls are sleeping without the noise waking them up!
2. One of my wife’s favourite kitchen appliances is her bread maker. She loves to make bread and I certainly enjoying eating it, as do our twins! There’s nothing better than eating a slice of warm bread with melted butter on! R and M, our twins, love to help making the bread too.
3. Another of my wife’s favour is her cake stand mixer. She loves making cakes and our mixer makes it quick and easy. Again our twins enjoy helping to make the cakes!
4. Next up is our cupcake maker machine. We were bought this for Christmas and we were a little dubious about it as we like to make cakes from scratch and pop them in the oven, so this did feel a little like cheating, but the end results were just as good as cakes cooked in the oven. The added bonus is that they don’t take as long to cook!
5. Our slow cooker is also on this list because it’s a great way to ensure we get a warm meal when we come home from work. My wife will usually prep the food the night before and then pop everything into the slow cooker in the morning. When we come home work, we get a warm, tasty meal!

Ah, you have one of my top items, the slow cooker. I would also include my George Forman (Fonrby) grill, my hand blender(for soups) my purple microwave (I dont cook using it, but with Mr AD working such odd hours, I would be lost without the power to reheat) and my toaster (i love toast, and it too is purple) x
