My Ultimate Five Person Football Dream Team!

It’s no secret that I love football. When I came across this video which was created by Audi I thought it was pretty cool! It’s such a fun idea that’s left me wondering who I’d pick to be in my ultimate five person team!

First up would be David Beckham. He’s probably the finest passer of the ball ever. He’s definitely the greatest free kick taker there’s ever been and he’s performed at the highest levels. He also seems like a really nice bloke!

Secondly I’d choose Zinedine Zidane. He had it all! He could head the ball and take free kicks. He could also pass the ball to perfection, but most importantly when he was on the ball, you just kind of knew something special would happen, which invariably it did.

Next up I’d pick Paul Gascoine. He could be a very loose canon on the football pitch with a very high temperament that often spilt over, but I always felt that while he was playing, he could change the game in your favour.

My fourth choice would be Andrea Pirlo. The perfect mid-fielder that was able to control a match from inside his own half. He could pass the ball sixty yards and it would always land on the players foot that it was meant for. As long as he was protected by his defence, whatever team he was playing against were always going to get beat.

Lastly I’d choose Gareth Bale. Of all the new players, Gareth Bale is dynamic, strong, brilliant on the ball when running at pace and the ball sticks to his foot as though it’s been super glued there. He’s also a brilliant header of the ball and second to none at free kicks. He also has the sweetest left foot that you could only dream of. If you were 3-0 down and Gareth Bail is on the pitch, you’ve still got a chance of winning the match because that’s how good he is!
