As parents do you always agree together as to the decisions regarding your children or is it a point of conflict?
As parents do you have same values in the possible rights and wrongs of parenting or is it something that causes issues?
Do you have the same attitude towards your children on how they should be disciplined? How many toys or treats they should have? Is this something that that you agree on or does it cause friction?
My wife and I, most of the time agree with the upbringing of our children, but there are number of things that we don’t agree on.
I don’t generally shout too much, but I firmly believe that occasionally a raised voice will get the message across and get them to listen. Whereas my wife probably rarely shouts at the girls, acutually if ever. This can cause some conflict!
The one issue that we both 100% agree upon is smacking and we never smack the twins. After all it will achieve absolutely nothing. Also it sends out the wrong message to your children that violent behaviour is ok, when it is not.
Through blogging the twins have always done really well with toys etc and had in truth far too much. My wife definitely can’t go anywhere on a day trip without the girls having something from the gift shop. I think I am stricter and would refuse to buy so much. If I’m honest I usually just go with the flow because once they have seen the gift shop, how do you stop it?
Most of time we agree on the upbringing of our children, but there will always be moments where we don’t and the moment to try and find a compromise is never easy.
Would love to know your thoughts and what happens in your home.

Like most, I imagine, we gave times when we disagree, but compromise is the key. We try to show a united front with the kids to stop confusion. Although there are differences in approach. I think I feel a post coming on!
