Brilliant Dad Feature week 79
This week our brilliant dad is the awesome blogger, vlogger and absolutely fantastic photographer, Darren. He blogs at Photalife.com and also has a blog called LoveAllDads.co.uk. He is also the person that also runs the the truly brilliant linky called #MySundayPhoto.

1. Have you always wanted to be a dad?
I can honestly say I have. It’s the love and bond that can never be broken or taken away. From the moment we found out we were having our first baby I was more excited than scared.
2. How did you feel when your children were born?
I was so over the moon. I was there for the birth of both of my girls and wouldn’t have had it any other way. It was a moment in all of our life’s that we would never ever forget.
3. What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a Dad?
The most rewarding part is seeing them develop and grow into themselves. To see them becoming amazing and beautiful girls. Hearing their teachers talking glowingly about them both is amazing and we helped develop that.
4. What are some of funniest moments to have happened to you as a dad?
No real funny moment stands out but I like to think for the most part we have a fun and happy time together. From playing in the garden to the happy trips we have. I hope we have lots of funny moments rather than one single moment.
5. Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?
The most difficult part so far has been when Aly needed a couple of operations on her eyes and I needed to hold her down while they put her under. She doesn’t remember that part but I do and it really wasn’t enjoyable.
6. What are your dreams and hopes for your children?
My dreams for them is to just lead a happy and enjoyable life. I want them to know that there is nothing that they can’t do.
