[AD] How to Store Your Shoes

July 28, 2020

If you have limited space in your home, the storage of goods like shoes may be cumbersome. The thought of stacking shoes in one corner of the house may be space-wasting and thus it is crucial to consider some shoe storage hacks that are cheap. There are many hidden spaces in your home that may serve as shoe storage space in both the short and long term. This article highlights some of the shoe storing hacks that are budget-friendly for you to consider.

Under-bed

This is a hidden space that can accommodate many pairs of shoes. You only need a little creativity to make them neat and organized. For instance, you can invest in cartons and organize them neatly to fit under your bed. These can also be recycled. You can also consider old picture frames and organize the shoes on them and place them under the bed. They are easy to pull and return under your bed. They make your shoes more accessible.

Additionally, if you have not discarded the boxes that they come with, they can be great storing spaces. When you want to access them, you can only reach out to specific boxes. In case you discarded them, you can make others using cardboards.

In Your Wardrobe

If you have a wardrobe, you can fit your shoes into a few wardrobe cabinets where you can access them easily. In this case, you can organize them in alternating positions so that you can save on space as they will occupy small spaces. They will also appear neat and well organized.

Behind Your Door

Door spaces are normally overlooked but they can be designed to be helpful storages. To store shoes here, you should invest in pocket-friendly shoe racks that have pockets on one side where the shoes can be held. These can be attached to the door and the shoes inserted in them per pair. The door space is normally wasted and you can make good use of it using this hack.

The advantage of these shoe storage solutions is the ease with which you store and access your shoes without dealing with a whole pile in the corner.

Shoe Rack

Most shoe racks are vertically organized and as a result, they occupy limited ground space which saves your limited space. These can be set in a corner where they cannot hinder your movements. Also, you can recycle small pouches, which you can hang on the wall to entirely save on the space on the ground. These will also appear attractive. If you do not have a shoe rack, you can consider improvising your storage by adding shelves to save on ground space.

Storing shoes is not as hard as it is viewed. You only need to consider creative ideas around your home that are budget-friendly. You can DIY your own or buy the cheap and decorative storages. Ultimately, your space will appear admirable, presentable, and neat.
