Buying The Perfect bed For A Good Nights Sleep
I love my sleep, so when it comes to buying a new bed it will always have to be a well thought out decision for me.

Although I love my sleep getting lie-ins became a thing of the past when our now eight year old twin girls were born. It’s strange how your sleep pattern completely changes when you have children. The sleepless nights and sharing a bed with fidgety children can definitely impact your eight hours of beauty sleep.
Just before our twin girls were born eight years ago, we made a decision to buy a new bed. After careful consideration and lots of research we decided on a super king size bed. Our logic behind buying a super king size bed was we would need the room when it comes to night feeds and yes, sometimes it’s easier to let them sleep in our bed because when we are all feeling knackered we just want to sleep and if there are four of you in the bed then a super king size is the perfect option.
During my life, I have slept in many beds in many cities all over the world. That includes beds in Wigan when I was at a conference there a few years ago. Consequently I feel this made me a bit of an expert on how good a bed is when it comes to getting a good nights sleep. Sleepify is also a great sleep resource and can help you choose the best mattress for a great nights sleep.
The time has now come to replace our bed so deciding on which bed to buy will be a difficult decision. Here are a few options that we will be researching to see if they are the bed we are going to buy.
1. Ottoman Beds
The ottoman bed is perfect if you’re short on storage space. It utilises the space under a bed which you could store linen and towels in, or you could store your summer clothes in the winter which will free up your wardrobe space and of course you can reverse this during the summer and store your winter clothes.
2. Divan Beds
Divan beds come in many different options. Some even have drawers underneath for storage and you could finish it with a matching headboard. They also come in many sizes such as double, queen, king and super king size.
3. Metal framed beds
Metal framed beds are perfect if you are looking for a certain style to suit your decoration. They come in many different finishes such at chrome, black or even a pine wood finish that would suit a country cottage. You will also have a storage facility under the bed where you could maybe store plastic boxes and to ensure that you can’t see them just add a valance to the base of the frame.
I think we will most likely go for the same type of bed as before. A super king size divan bed. It has given us great service and as one of our eight year old twins still climbs into our bed every night, there is plenty of room for everybody to get a good nights sleep.
What type of bed do you prefer? I would love to hear in the comments below.
