Keeping Warm In The Summer Months With Electric Heating

Summer is on the way which of course means that we can now consider using the central heating a lot less. Well, in fact we can all but turn it off completely.

Living in the UK means that the one thing you can be completely sure of is the unpredictable British weather. Just when you think summer is wall to wall sunshine for months on end the weather takes a turn and the temperature drops. This in turn means that early in the morning or during the evening it can become a little chilly. Putting the central heating back on is usually a little bit too much so here are a couple of suggestions of how to stay warm during the summer if it goes off a bit colder.

1. Electric Heating Options

The summertime is when I do more bike rides than any other time of the year. There is nothing better than getting out on the road or trail bike for a ride early in the morning when there is little or no traffic about, but there is always a cold nip in the air so when I return home the first thing I need to do is jump in the shower to warm up. Once I have had a shower I always like to get out and wrap a warm towel around myself which in the winter is fine because generally speaking the central heating is on, but this is not the case in the summer.

So I have decided to have an electric radiator installed in our bathroom that I can turn on independently and keep my towel on there so it’s nice and warm when I get out of the shower.

They are very practical and very stylish to add a touch of sophistication to your bathroom, and more importantly keep your towels nice and warm.

2. Getting a blanket

You could of course, if it gets a bit chilly during the evening, cuddle up to your other half under a blanket to stay warm. This is of course a great way to stay warm and it’s always nice to have a cuddle but as soon as you get up and out from under the blanket it’s instantly cold. So the answer could be to have an electric convector radiator that you can turn on to take the chill off in your lounge while watching tv during the evening.

Electric heating options such as electric radiators are a perfect way to stay warm during the warmer summer months when it invariably goes a little bit colder early in the morning or later at night.
