Mother’s Day

March 26, 2017

Today is the day that we celebrate the very reason we are here in the world, our mums.

In my life there are two mums. One is my mum and the other is my wife of whom I have 5 year old twin girls with.

I am going to start with my mum. My mum is elderly and every year now I do wonder if this is the last year I will celebrate Mother’s Day with her. It’s hard to put into words what my mum means to me, but I will give it my effort.

My mum has always been there through some very tough times that I have experienced in my life. She has never judged or crictised my decisions, even when some of my decisions were very poor ones and when things went wrong she was there to pick up the pieces and put me back together again.

My mum is everything I could have wished for in a parent. She has taught me life values that have held me in good stead for my life. My mum is a rock  that has supported and loved me all my life.

Will this be the last Mother’s Day with my mum? I hope not. I really hope there will be many more.

The other mum in my life is my wife and she is mummy to our five year old twin girls. R and M could not wish for a better mum. She is there for them 24/7 with a smile, a kiss or a cuddle.

I stand back sometimes and look at the incredible love my wife has for her two girls and my wife will always go the extra distance to make our girls happy.
They are so lucky to have the most wonderfully natural mummy anybody could wish for. Always having a joke and making them giggle so much. Love this photo of all three of them washing their feet in the bath.

Today we all be together for Sunday lunch. Happy Mother’s Day to my mum and my wife. Have a fantastic day, you both deserve it. Love you lots.
