My Patio Furniture Wishlist

Spring is well truly in full swing which means one thing! Summer is on the way, yay!

Spring is that time of the year when you come out of hibernation from those cold winter months, and venture out into the garden. Preparing your patio for those hot and sunny months of summer is so important.

Having six year old twin girls that love spending every moment of daylight in the garden means we spend a lot of time outdoors. For us as a family, it’s important that our patio is the perfect area to sit and enjoy the summer and the many BBQ’s that we will have.

With all that in mind here are my most wanted patio items for our summer in the garden.

1. Seating

One of first things that I would love is a nice comfortable place to sit while watching the girls play on their trampoline etc, and I love this seating from Groupon for the garden. It comes in three colours and has a steel frame made of PE rattan and has waterproof cushions with a dining table with tempered glass.

2. Lighting

It’s so important that as soon as the sun starts to go down that your patio is well lit, but also has a lovely ambience, so when I came across these Sun, Moon, Star, and Solar light wind chimes from J D Williams I couldn’t resist. It’s beautiful and if there is a slight breeze the chimes would be very soothing in the late evening.

3. Planters

There are a number of different ways to compliment your patio with planters. The one I particularly like is the idea of false plants in planters. The reason being is you can dictate the colour of the plants and of course they never look anything, but beautiful. I found the perfect bamboo patio planters with pink and white artificial flowers, two of my favourite colours, from Amazon and I was sold. They are perfect to place around the patio to add colour and interest.

4. Water Feature

There is nothing more soothing than hearing water running, so for me a water feature is an absolute must to go on the side of patio. So when I came across this 3 tier cascade water feature with lighting from Primose, it was the perfect fit for my patio, also the extra lighting is a bonus as darkness falls.
