The twins have just three days left in nursery. Then it’s summer holidays and they go back to full time school. The last year has flown by, but their development has been rapid. I caught this moment where R is reading mummy a story. Times are changing.

I love this 'milestone', where they actively choose to share their favourite books rather than listen. My 4 year old 'reads' his favourite stories to us now – well, he knows the story by heart, but he's pretty spot on at matching the right words to the right page. Enjoy your summer.

Lovely photo and such a bitter sweet milestone where they're leaving behind preschool. So exciting when they do start reception and get SO excited about learning new things!
