R and M’s trip to the big park
Today we took the girls to a big park in middle of our city with a lake called Roath Park. What’s so nice about it is that when I was a child I grew up spending a lot of time at this park.
We arrived at the part at 10 o’clock and the girls walked along the promenade looking at the swans and ducks in the lake.
We made our way to the swings and slides and the first thing we did was go down the big slide. The girls took it in turns to sit on my lap and they loved it! We moved onto the pirate slide and first thing the girls did was let their toy doggy and baby go down the smaller slide and then they followed them down!
The park was very busy considering the time and the sun was not shining so it was quite cold. Next we went on all the swings and slides and we finished off by going on the big rope swing.
The girls had a fantastic time with lots to do. When we made our way back to the car we looked at the swans and ducks before heading off to Greggs for a sausage roll and Ribena drink! It’s one of their favourite things to eat!
It’s interesting because the last time we visited this park was about a year ago and watching the twins and seeing their confidence growing so quickly is amazing. The girls are truly growing up!
A lovely visit to Cardiff’s biggest park.

Love a good park outing, although my daughter hates going as high as yours have here
