The Brilliant Dad Feature is one year old!
Just over a year ago I was mulling over an idea to involve dads on my blog and talk about their experiences as dads.
I was sitting in my twin girls room whilst they went to sleep one night and started to think about what questions I could ask dads. I didn’t want too many questions and I didn’t want complicated questions either. I actually wanted simple questions that would make us think about our roles as dads, so I thought what would I ask myself.
It actually didn’t take me very long to work out what I would ask myself and they instantly got me to thinking of the answers.
I decided to ask in the Dad Network Facebook group if any dads be interested in taking part and I was overwhelmed with the response. I instantly had 10 or more dads replying and quickly sending me the answers.
Soon the Brilliant Dad Feature was born and to date I’ve had 51 dads take part and many more to come.
This week is number 52 and I genuinely didn’t think it would even last a month!
I have had a diverse range of dads take part from all over the world and it never ceases to amaze me how honestly and differently the questions have been answered.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the dads that have taken part. I am truly humbled that you take the time to answer the questions. It’s really appreciated by me.
