Top five tech gadgets I would love to have.

June 30, 2016

With the advance and speed of technology I was recently thinking about what would be my top five tech gadgets that I would love to own. I love my technology and that’s probably why friends and family tend to opt for tech related gifts for me, for birthdays and Christmases.

Here are my top 5 must have gadgets.

1. Our television is probably about eight years old so it’s definitely past its sell by date. Typically though my wife and I live our life by the ‘if it’s not broken you don’t change it’ motto! Recently the new 4K televisions have been released and Panasonic have also released their Panasonic UHD 4K TV and this is something that I really want! It’s perfect! It comes with HCX and Cinema Display technology that gives you breath taking picture quality. This means you get a home cinema experiance that is truly brilliant, and as a film loving family, what better way to watch them!

2. As a family we also love to listen to music and what better way than to have a wi-fi speaker. The one I’ve been eyeing up is the Sonos Play 5 speaker which gives the ultimate, purest, deepest listening experience with the advantage being that you can take it to any room in the house which suits my four year twin girls because they will dance anywhere!

3. One thing I love to do and have always enjoyed is listening to music with headphones. It really does shut out the world and for me the perfect headphones have to be B&O Beoplay H8 wireless headphones. They have perfect sound with a perfect fit and touch control and total noise reduction.

4. Listening to the radio goes hand in hand with my love of music, and something I have always wanted is a DAB radio. I love the retro look of a Roberts Revival DAB portable radio. Again they have a perfect sound and are also a great fit for our taste in decor which definitly has a retro feel to it.
5. Finally, my wife, children and I love going on trips to unusual places. We love to vlog about our experiences so the perfect gadget would be a dashboard cam. In particular I like the silent witness full HD dash cam which is great for filming our journeys and keeping our family safe when on the road.
So that’s my top five gadgets. I would love to know what yours are.

I'm with you on the TV. Ours is only about 3 years old, but at the time we needed one and got what we could afford so it's just a normal HD.
Would love a smart tv. Especially as fibre has just come to the area.

A fitbit is on my list. Middle aged spread happening need something to motivate and track my movements.

A decent laptop, camera and smartphone for blogging and recording memories of the kids before they don't want to be photographed anymore.

But my number one gadget would be a 7 seater electric car. Tesla have brought one out and it looks gorgeous. Plus no bloody petrol to buy…

    Great post Nige.
