Twins are nearly four years old
Our twin girls will be four years old at the end of February and they are changing so much.
Just last September they started nursery. Only a matter of a few months ago and I remember so vividly how timid and quiet they were going for the first time, but over time they have developed a new found confidence which sometimes borders on being a little bit cheeky.
They are so often making up their own games on their own which is really funny to listen to and watch. They often do shows for us using the curtains to appear from.
Their memories never cease to amaze me. They are remembering things that we have done months ago.
Of course the downside is that they are now arguing with each other more. Mostly over toys. The decision is do you get involved in the middle or walk away. Just yesterday I walked into the lounge and they were battering each other like there is no tomorrow over a toy. Incredibly I allowed them to get on with it and within a minute they were sitting quietly on the sofa watching CBeebies together!
This I imagine is going to continue for years to come!
The twins are growing rapidly and that’s lovely, seeing them develop, but sometimes I wish time would slow down, so we can enjoy their childhood for longer.
