My Holiday Destinations Bucket List

Over the course of my lifetime, I have been very fortunate to visit on holidays many wonderful and exotic places. Which include destinations like Rome, Marrakesh and the Balearic Islands. That of course doesn’t mean that I have many more places, that I would love to visit and see the many fantastic places that the world has to offer.

So I thought I would do a bucket list of five of the destinations that I would to see before I’m old to get out of my armchair. That’s a while before that happens I might add.

So I was wondering what’s the best way to travel nowadays and how do I arrange accommodation for the countries I wish to visit. 1. China

First up is China why change of course is one the oldest civilisations in the world, there are couple of areas that I would particularly like to visit in China. One is the Great Wall of china, which has been reputed that it can be seen from outer space, although the evidence suggests otherwise.

The other place I would like visit in China Is Terracotta Army it looks truly amazing and although I have seen it on television. I think seeing it for real would help me realise what awesome sight it is.

2. Portugal

I have been to many parts of Europe in my life, but one the few places that I have not travelled to is Portugal. The Algarve with its long golden sandy beaches, is the perfect location for a family holiday and my six year old twins love the beach. To make it a bit different, and gives us the freedom, and not under the restrictions of a hotel, a villa would be perfect, and Clickstay villas in Portugal would be perfect for finding our perfect holiday home for two weeks.

3. USA

There are many places in the USA that I would love to visit, but I have always had a huge desire to ride an airboat across the Everglades in Florida ever since I watch Horatio Caine in CSI Miami doing it in the opening credits.

I have always considered Elvis Presley to have been the greatest musical artist ever, he had something that you can’t quite put your finger on. Just something very special. So a trip to Gracelands is a must for part of my itinerary.

I would also love to visit New York and take in the sights like Central Park and Statue of Liberty.

4. Australia: Great Barrier Reef

I lived in Australia for about four years when I was younger, but one destination I never got too was the Great Barrier Reef, so I would love to return one day to take in one of most beautiful natural wonders of the world.

5. Egypt

On my bucket list, my final destination is Egypt and there is only one reason I would want to visit.

I have always wanted to see the great pyramids, one of the seven wonders of the world my fascination of them started when I was a small boy and I went on a school trip to see the Tutkarmen exhibition in London, and I have always thought how wonderful it would be see the burial ground of Tutkarmen.

So that’s it my bucket list of the destinations I would like to visit.
