My Sunday photo this week is my four year old twin girls. This photo partly inspired a post I published a few days ago called gender stereotyping in our schools. It has surprised me with the amount of views it received and the amount of comments and shares. It is very satisfying that natural content about your life is read at all because I have always considered myself pretty boring! It also proves without a doubt to me that if you are going to write a blog it needs to be kept real and engaging.
What I particularly loved about this photo is my girls have no gender bias when it comes to toys and dressing up, and I love that at least we are allowing our twin girls to be exactly who they want to be without restrictions, as you can see by how they are dressed. I particularly love the way M has mixed superhero and princess into one outfit and with Ironman backing her up my twin girls are ready to take on the world!

I love to give children the freedom to dress as they like and dressing up is part of childhood. Some great imaginative combinations coming through here.
