We are a family that love to create memories that will live forever, especially for our children. We’re always looking for something new and different for us to enjoy as a family.
So, recently, when I was approached by McDonald’s to join in with their new #familygoodtimes campaign, I couldn’t wait to create some more special family moments.

My five year old twins love a trip to McDonald’s, but then who doesn’t? I know I do too! Well now is the time to go because McDonald’s have a very special event happening at selected restaurants throughout the UK.
They’re having character visits and we were invited as a family to our local McDonald’s to experience the event.
We arrived just in time to be greeted by Jean the Emoji. Of course the Emoji movie is currently the film being promoted by McDonald’s. There were two ladies greeting all the kids as they entered the restaurant and immediately we had the chance for a photo opportunity with Jean the Emoji. The girls loved it and were straight by his side with big smiling faces.

The twins were given a page of Emoji stickers and a sticker scene to create their own scene of emoji’s. Stickers are always a winner with my girls and it was perfect timing because it would occupy them while we waited for our food.

After we finished our food it was time for some games and generally great fun. Jean the Emoji and his two helpers first of all took all the kids on a conga and then they played a few games and were given balloons animals and swords.

Finally the girls were given a certificate from the Emoji saying how awesome it was to meet them today with their names written on them, which was a lovely personal touch and a fab keepsake.

#familygoodtimes is a fantastic way to enjoy time as a family and with the character visits to entertain the children on the weekend or during the long summer holidays. What a perfect way to capture a special moment.
If you are looking for a fun way to enjoy your next McDonald’s the character visits are taking place all over the UK, so why not find out when they will be near your home by using this postcode finder. You won’t be disappointed, it was an awesome lunch, which I’m sure my twins will remember forever.
This is a collaborative post.

Looks like good fun. Our kids have had one McDonald’s all summer. Yet they must ask every day! Will look out for these events. Thanks x
