R&M's Frozen Bedroom Makeover
So we have been in our new home for just over a week and with the girls now being three years old we decided to change their cots into beds. We also started to design their room around the Disney film Frozen.
The room had plain white walls when we moved in.
so I found the most dominant colour from the film which is purple and I painted all the walls in Dulux Violet White Matt Emulsion.
Then I painted the ceiling in Dulux White Matt Emulsion. Finally I painted all the woodwork in full white gloss.
To complete the frozen look we added Frozen quilts and pillows, available from Tesco Direct.
We also added two Frozen treasure chests to keep their toys and pyjamas in at the end of their beds, available from TK Max.
Lastly we added a Frozen rug from Tesco Direct onto the green carpet and hung up some Frozen curtains, also from Tesco Direct.
The finishing touches were a Frozen linen basket, available from Amazon and finally I hung posters of Anna and Elsa on the walls to complete the Frozen look.
I have decided that I really think the girls are obsessed with Frozen and why no?! It really is Disney doing what it does best!
The transformation of this room took one day using low odour, quick drying paints. This means that the girls were able to sleep there tonight.

OK, not showing my daughter this!! We are about to start her room (once the office is finished) and she keeps asking for Frozen, but we are slowly convincing her a less themed room would be better lol.
Excellent work though.
