Snow Days: My Sunday Photo
My Sunday Photo is a bit of a change for me. It’s in black and white and I think it works really well, with all the snow that the UK has seen in the last few days.
As for me, well, I’m my six year old daughters slave! Pulling them along in the sledges, which of course were bought for a very unreasonable price for just two days of use. When will be the next time they will be used? Most likely 10 years from now!
Then again the girls will be 16 years old then, so not sure they will be so quick to go out with mum and dad in the snow! I’m fairly sure that won’t be such a cool thing to do.
The one thing I love about this photo is M is hanging off the edge of her sledge to make sure she got in the photo!
When you are a mum or dad there are moments to treasure forever. As you watch your children grow up, and this is one of those moments, memories are beautiful to hold and cherish forever. I love how much the girls excitement is showing in this photo about being able to play in the snow for the first time since they have been born.
With the girls school being closed for two days, it hasn’t stopped us having fun and the time flew by.
What did you get up to when the snow fell? I would love to hear.

What did I get up to? Exactly what you are doing in that photo! Both kids had experienced snow before, but this was the first time they’d been able to go sledging properly and school was closed for four days so we simply had ot get out and play. And yes, I did wind up pulling both kids along at once!
