The Best Way To Clean Your Car
Looking to clean your car this weekend? If you often run out of time to wash your beloved vehicle and instead end up at the local car wash you might be missing out on a great cleaning surface. Here are the steps you need to take to clean your car properly so that it looks brand new.
Check the condition of your car
If you want to make sure that your car is healthy and stays in good condition throughout the years you need to clean it often. Take a look at the state of your car, and unless you need to visit LSH Auto for Mercedes Benz & smart Cars, a good clean can usually be a big help for the overall condition of your car.
Wash With Shampoo
Once you are ready to wash your car you can begin with a good quality shampoo, a bucket, and warm water. Make sure to take your time in every part of the car and this will allow you to get rid of any dirt, dust, and debris which lies on the surface of your car. Rinse off with either a hose pipe or a pressure washer and make sure to get right into those wheel alloys to get rid of the grime and mud.
Removing Tree Sap
If you find that you have small amounts of tree sap on your car; you can use a clay bar which will remove stubborn stains. The beauty of a clay bar is that it will move these items without damaging your paintwork meaning that you will be left with a smooth car surface to work with.
Cleaning The Windows
The next important step of washing your car is to clean the windows both inside and out. You need to make sure not to use domestic glass cleaner and instead go for an auto glass cleaner. Make sure that you use a squeegee to remove the cleaner and this will leave your windows looking clean and clear.
Polish
If you want to add an extra step into your car wash in routine every so often, polishing your car can be a wonderful way to bring out the colour of the car and make it feel shiny and new. It’s almost like the equivalent of putting lotion on after a shower.
Wax
To finish off the cleaning of your car, the best thing you can do is wax the surface of the car. Waxing not only helps to stop colors like red from weathering in the sun, but it also protects the surface of the car against things like bird poop and tree sap which could fall on the good.
Finishing Touches
Once you are done washing the car you can start looking at the interior. Think about vacuuming out the inside of the car, dusting the dashboard and making sure that you’ve not got any random items lingering in the space. Finish off with a fresh air freshener and you will have a wonderfully fresh, clean and brand new looking car worthy of a showroom.
