When fridges turn bad!
One of the best things about going on a family holiday is having the opportunity to spend quality time with my children, and of course my wife!
I get the chance to relax a little, well, I guess it’s not really relaxing when you have children to keep entertained, but it’s a lot better than being stuck in work!
We can spend time together, go swimming together, eat at nice restaurants together and go on day trips together.
Holidays are amazing, and can be a great way to unwind and forget about the stresses and strains that life can sometimes put upon us.
Sometimes however, the world as a different plan and wants us to return back down from that relaxed feeling with a pretty almighty crash landing.
Imagine the scene. You’ve just arrived home from a week’s all-inclusive holiday. You’re all pretty tired and looking forward to sleeping in your own bed again.
You walk through the front door and an instant smell of gone off food hits you. Yup. That’s really not the welcome home you were looking forward to!
It turns out whilst you were away the fridge decided to have a holiday too and relaxed a bit too much and now it’s broken. You’re left with a useless fridge and some smelly food.
You’re skint because you thought buying the cute little teddy bears in the airport with the ‘Spain’ t-shirt on were a bargain at £10 each, and then of course there’s all the holiday tat, uh, I mean souvenirs that you decided to buy too.
What do you do?
Well, in my case a short term loan from a company such as Vivus seemed liked the best option. I knew that a new fridge wouldn’t cost too much and that when I was back at work earning money again, I’d be able to pay for it pretty quickly.
Thankfully we managed to discard the gone off food pretty quickly and we now have a lovely new fridge freezer. I guess sometimes in life there are silver linings!
