[AD] It’s A New Year Let’s Get Fit With Jonple Health And Wellness App
A new year is always a good time to look at how healthy we are as individuals, and I’m no different. As regular readers know I stay fit by cycling and I endeavour to go out on bike rides regularly during the week. However, I also want to improve my overall fitness.

I have never been a fan of gyms so for a while I’ve been looking for an exercise regime that I can do from the comfort of my own home.
Now we are in 2021 I’ve decided that I need to lead a much more healthy lifestyle. This also includes my diet which is an area of my life where I can be very lazy.
So when I was recently approached by Jonple to review their Health and Wellness app. Put simply, Jonple is a fitness, nutrition and psychology app. I thought this could be the perfect solution for living a healthier lifestyle in 2021.
Who are Jonple?
Jonple’s service is built upon three distinct, but linked areas of nutrition, fitness and psychology. There are a team of experts that have created a specialist app that using AI customises to your own needs. Every fitness and nutrition program will be unique to your own requirements in leading a healthy lifestyle.
Jonple help people understand what drives them, what you can achieve and to help you achieve targets, as well as manage any problems you may face along the way.
Jonple’s Nutrition and Fitness programs are supported by a Psychology program to help you stay on track.
There are three main sections to Jonple nutrition, psychology and fitness.
1. Nutrition
The nutrition section can be accessed via the dashboard and this is where you can do all your meal planning. Every meal, snack and nutrition target will be based on what’s right for you at your current nutrition and fitness level and the nutrition goals you have set. Which is based on your current age, height, weight and goal you have set.

This was easily my favourite section of the app. As I have already mentioned I can be very lazy when it comes to eating a well balanced diet so this section is perfect to make sure my diet is healthy and well balanced.
The selection of recipes is varied and large. I particularly enjoyed the Tuna Nicoise salad for lunch and the full veggie breakfast was a real eye opener for me. This was something I had never considered before but it tasted so good and was just the right amount for breakfast to start my day.
Here is the Tuna Nicoise recipe, which I highly recommend for lunch.

All of the meals and snacks are nutritious and they don’t sacrifice taste. It’s not a supplement based diet. It is a food first approach.
The benefits of the nutrition approach is so much better than traditional diets. This is because you are not starving yourself unlike so many traditional diets do. This is a perfect nutritional well balanced way to eat.
2. Fitness
The first time you use the fitness section you will have to do a fitness test. This involves a number of exercises that are designed to work out my fitness levels. They were very simple exercises and the results are combined with the information I gave when I set up my profile. The algorithms in the app then worked out my very own fitness plan and if I was struggling with a particular exercise I could swap it for a different one. There’s also a video for every exercise to help you do it properly.

What I particularly loved about the fitness section is that I was able to do the work-outs at home and it didn’t include the use of weights. It was totally personalised to my own fitness level.
3. Psychology
When it comes to leading a healthy lifestyle including exercise and nutrition, for me one of toughest parts has been motivation and keeping it going. This is where the psychology section comes into its own.

First of all I completed a short questionnaire which enables Jonple to understand what motivates me and what I can hope to achieve. Through a series of videos I will build up an understanding of my own motivations and then I can develop the tools that will empower me to focus completely and reach my nutrition and fitness targets.
You can also access a range of tools such as word clouds that will map out my choices and behaviour. This in turn will support my goals and any problems I may come across. The psychology section is based upon psychology evidence and can help achieve long term change.
The Jonple fitness, nutrition and psychology app is innovative and I loved the way it was customised to my own particular needs.
Since starting my own journey towards a healthy lifestyle I have felt fitter and I feel my diet is now much more balanced and nutritious.
If you want join download the app, it’s available for download on the App Store or Google play and you can sign up on the website or via your app store and and you will get a full access 7 day free trial which is available to all users.

Sounds like the exercise element is designed so you don’t have to invest in equipment? That’s good as I think cost puts lots of people off. A food nutrition ‘generator’ also soundslike a good ideas as I tend to eat the same salad every day! Great review Nigel.
