Planning and booking a summer holiday
We have found ourselves in the position of having to rent for another year.
It’s important to have something to look forward to so we have decided to book a Thomsons all inclusive holiday. Here are my five tips to get the right holiday for your family and yourself.
Going on our holiday will be my wife, our four year old twins and my mother who has limited mobility.
1. First thing is to decide on what sort of holiday you want. In our case we want an all inclusive holiday where we don’t have to worry about meals or in truth anything else
2. The next decision is where to go, how far, flight/drive time etc. For us or actually me, two and half hours on a plane is long enough so usually the Balearic Islands are a good choice
3. Picking your hotel/apartment is vital especially in our case with four year old twins. Within the complex we want all types of swimming pools, a park area and the beach just a few minutes away because our girls love the beach
4. It’s important that the hotel offers a combination of kids and adult entertainment in the evening
5. Finally it’s important to go away abroad when the sun is not at its hottest and June is always a good month as you will be guaranteed good weather, but hopefully not too hot. This is vital with little ones.

Great post. It's always lovely when the time for booking a holiday comes around. We love to go to Florida but obviously can't do it very often. For us though, we have school restrictions so we can't go on holiday in June, it has to be the end of July or August. I think my top tip would be to do your research beforehand, make sure the place you're going has some of the things you'd like. 🙂 Popping over from #happydiaries linky

Sounds like you have your hands full:) I rarely go on vacation but last time I did, my boys were small and we drove from Massachusetts to Virgina, which is and 8-9 hour drive. I had one kid potty trained and another in diapers. I look back and I don't know how I did it. Miraculously, we only made 3 stops and once we got to Virginia it was more relaxing and the boys had a great time! #happydiaries
