High/lowlights of 2015

As 2015 draws to a close I thought I would look at some of the high points and low points of my life.

January was an interesting month. We were given notice on the property we were renting which I found very stressful, but on the up side we had a short break in Bluestone Wales which was fantastic.
February was a month of surprises. I had a bit of financial luck. I started the Brilliant Dad Feature Thank you Ryan from Dad Creek for being the first! It’s still going strong at number 48. In February we also moved home and our twin girls turned three years old.
March saw me get my first sponsored post after just four months and my son turned 16 years of age.
April was the month that I became a co-host on Twin Mummy and daddy’s Binky Linky and it’s also when the road trips to different university’s with my 18 year old daughter started.
May saw us starting to settle into our new home and the twins started to learn all about gardening with their mummy.
June was the month we had a brilliant family holiday in Menorca and I was named as a top 10 daddy blogger in Mummy Pages Ireland, very humbled and very proud.

July and summer was in full swing. I managed to write a lot decorating posts which were quite a hit on my blog.
In August my daughter turned 18 years old and passed her A levels. She also secured a place in university to study nursing so I’m very proud of her. My son also did really well in his GCSEs and has gone on to study in sixth form college.

In September my 18 year old daughter left for university. It was a sad time seeing her move away for the first time. Our twins started nursery school so there a lot of big changes this month. We also visited West Midlands Safari Park which was a great day out.
In October we visited Noah’s Ark Zoo and I reviewed lots of toys and games on my blog. My eldest daughter was promoted in work to a senior within just two years of working for the company.

In November my father passed away and in the same month I was made an ambassador for the children’s hospice, Ty Hafan, something I’m very proud of. We went to the You Tube kids channel launch at London Zoo which was awesome.

December was a very busy month with a trip to Bluestone Wales for Kingdom of the Elves along with numerous visits to see Santa for the twins. My daughter came home from university for the holidays and my eldest daughter had her heart broken. Christmas was so much fun and I got to see my first ever pantomime!

I have had a good year, but the three moments about 2015 that stick in my mind are:

2. Being placed as a top 10 dad blogger. I felt very proud and humbled.
3. The last one is going to the pantomime for the first time in my life. I have never laughed so much! I was crying! I really didn’t know what I had been missing all those years!
Finally
I have been so lucky to have been blessed with five children who I love so very much, to have a mum who is always there for me and my beautiful wife who supports and loves me like nobody else could and I am so in love with and love with all heart.
