I Have Been Nominated For An Amara IBA18 Award I Would Love Your Vote!

Somebody has very kindly put me forward for an award in the Amara interior blog awards, more commonly known as the IBA18 awards. I have been nominated in the Best DIY & Home Improvement Blog Category.

It’s always an honour to be considered for an award, and to be nominated has totally shocked me if I’m completely honest, but for all of that I’m over the moon. It really has made my day!

When I first started my blog four years ago I wanted to split the content between DIY and parenting, and I have always tried to maintain that content split, hence I guess why somebody has nominated me for this award. I have also expanded into doing You Tube tutorials, which have always gone down well.

Blogging for me has only ever had ups, and I feel very fortunate to have been named in top ten lists on a regular basis over the last three years. This year was also a big moment when I won my first ever award, which has actually given me the taste to win another one. So this nomination couldn’t have come at a more appropriate moment.

The next part of the awards is to try and get on the shortlist for the award. This is done purely by public vote, which is hopefully where all you lovely people come into play!
