Creating A Disney Themed Bedroom

We moved into our current home about three and a half years ago and like a very typical painter and decorator, I never get around to doing any decorating in our own home! My six year old twin girls bedroom was in desperate need of re-decorating. The walls on one side had been plastered in football player posters using sellotape by one of our girls, and the curtains were Disney’s Frozen themed which the girls had up in our previous home, and they were looking seriously tatty and were definitely passed their sell by date! Their bedroom was in need… [Read More]

Our Holiday To Disneyland Paris 2018 Our Last Day! Video Special!

This was it! Our final day of our holiday to Disneyland Paris 2018. The plan was to have an easy relaxed day, but of course that’s not always possible when you are on holiday at Disneyland Paris with six year old twin girls. The day was to turn out to be quite an adventure that we didn’t plan on. We were out early after breakfast at the hotel and headed out to go on a boat ride that we seemed to miss doing every day. The boat ride in question was Le Pays Des Contes De Fees. It’s a relaxing… [Read More]

Our Holiday To Disneyland Paris Day 4 & 5

After day three I really didn’t know how our holiday was ever going to get any better, but it came very close that’s for sure! We were certainly in the swing of enjoying Disneyland Paris now. We had breakfast at our hotel, and set off to the park. I’m not sure we had a definite plan, but there were some things that we wanted to do that we didn’t do in 2017. On entering the park we saw Donald Duck and this was a great opportunity to meet and greet him as it was a short queue because it was… [Read More]

People No Longer Seem Obliging Or Helpful Disneyland Paris 2018

On our recent trip to Disneyland Paris I was shocked to find that people generally nowadays simply don’t go out of their way to help others. It’s all about what they want and they will have that at all costs. So let me explain a couple of instances that happened on our recent trip. On day three of our trip we decided at the almost the last minute to go and watch the Disney Illuminations, which start at 11pm. We have been many times to watch the Illuminations and if you want a place close to the front to watch… [Read More]

Our Holiday To Disneyland Paris 2018 Day 2 & 3

On day two when I looked outside the window, I was disappointed that the weather was not the best. There were dark clouds in the sky and heavy rain forecast for lunchtime. Still we had wet weather coats and leggings and we were determined not to let the weather dampen our day. First up for the day was breakfast at Plaza Gardens with the characters. This is always awesome and the girls love having a hug with Mickey and all his friends. It’s a fantastic chance to grab photos and get the all important autograph books signed without having to… [Read More]

Our Holiday To Disneyland Paris 2018 Day 1

We have recently returned from our annual holiday and for the second year in a row we decided to go to Disneyland Paris. The difference this year is that we decided to stay for seven days against just four days last year. One of the main reasons for that was hopefully it wouldn’t be too much of a rush trying to cram everything in, because believe you me there is so much to do in Disneyland Paris. We did as we did last year and stayed overnight at a hotel for one night prior to going to the Disneyland hotel…. [Read More]

Disneyland Paris Here We Come!

We’re going to Disneyland Paris, and I seriously cannot wait! It’s just over a year since we last went and from the moment I left, I couldn’t wait to go back! Last year we went for 4/5 days, and this year we are going for 7/8 days. The main reason why we are going for longer is because it went so quick last year and I left feeling I had missed so much. Even though it’s not much longer it will hopefully give us a more relaxed pace to the holiday, because knowing we had only four or so days… [Read More]

DisneyLand Paris, I’m Coming Back This Year!

Last year I wrote a post all about being grumpy about going to Disneyland Paris. The situation for me was that I was never a Disney fan. I never really liked Disney as a child, so understanding ” the magic of Disney” that everybody talked about, well quite honestly I never got it. Last June within about one hour of arriving at Disney, I was a convert! I had been sold the magic hook, line and sinker. There really is a magic in the air. It’s hard to fully explain, but the minute we arrived at the Disneyland Paris hotel… [Read More]
